Our Mission

Native Forest Co was founded with a simple but powerful vision: to help New Zealand farmers transform unproductive land into thriving native ecosystems while creating lasting value for their properties.

We understand that every farm has areas that aren't economically viable for traditional agriculture—steep slopes, wet areas, poor soils, or land prone to erosion. Instead of letting these areas remain idle, we see an opportunity to restore New Zealand's indigenous landscape.

What We Do

  • Partner with farmers to identify suitable planting areas
  • Design custom native forest restoration plans
  • Source and plant appropriate native species
  • Provide ongoing maintenance and monitoring
  • Help access government funding and carbon credits

Our Values

Sustainability First

Every decision we make considers the long-term health of the ecosystem and the economic sustainability of our farming partners.

Local Expertise

We use only native New Zealand species and work with local nurseries and ecological experts to ensure the best outcomes.

Partnership Approach

We believe in working with farmers, not for them. Your land, your goals, our expertise.

Measurable Impact

We track biodiversity improvements, carbon sequestration, and erosion reduction to demonstrate real value.
